June 23rd Fishing Report
The bite is hot and looks like it will continue
Summer is in full swing at Border View Lodge. And the fishing has been great! Our guides have been targeting walleye and sauger around the Northern islands. The most consistent fishing has been in 12-22 feet of water.
The best method has been mostly using spinners and night crawlers. The hottest colors right now are gold, pink, and red. We’re still catching a few with jig and minnow.
It has been a little buggy lately so we want to suggest to our guests to bring long pants and long shirts. And don’t forget your sunscreen.
The forecast is calling for mid-high 70’s with possible rain over the weekend.
